Collectible scale model of the largest Soviet and Russian transport helicopter MI-26. initially, the helicopter was designed to deliver heavy loads in sparsely populated areas of the USSR and was not planned to use it for military purposes. But after MI-26 has successfully passed all tests and received the highest rating of the state Commission, it was decided to adopt it. The machine has been laid for the transportation of personnel to 82 armed Marines or up to 60 lying wounded. Mi-26 was used extensively during the Afghan conflict, and also for liquidation of consequences of the Chernobyl accident. Currently, the MI-26 was also used to extinguish forest fires. Unique author's work is made of patinated bronze.
